Michelle Obama going for pearls and Helen Mirren always surprising with daring jewelry. Come and see what the famous and fabulous wore this week!

Michelle Obama wore Yoko London

Michelle Obama hosted the Hanukkah Reception in the East Room at the White House, this week. She looked, as she always does, strong, present and wonderful.

She wore Yoko London earrings for the occasion. A pearl jewelry brand created in 1973 by the Hakimian family. I find their creations delicate, allowing the pearl to play the lead.

Anna Faris wore Le Vian

Anna Faris wore Le Vian diamond earrings when she visited, also on the 14th of december, the premiere of the Passengers at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood.  Le Vian is a very old jewelry house, huge in the U.S. and rapidly expanding to other countries. The brand is known for a lot of things, one of them is their playful names for fancy diamonds, such as Chocolate Diamonds, Blackberry Diamonds, Vanilla Diamonds and so on and so forth. I met Eddie and his son at the trade fair in Vicenza, Italy and sat down with them to listen to their story and go through an enormous quantity of jewelry.

Helen Mirren wore Lydia Courteille, Gilan and Hearts of Fire

Hellen Mirren, who doesn’t love Helen Miller? Our hope of growing old gracefully! Helen went to the world premiere of Collateral Beauty and did not shy away from some glitz and glamour, wearing lots of diamond jewelry. The necklace is by Gilan and the tennis bracelets all by Hearts on Fire. I especially appreciated the earrings, by one of my favorite brands: Lydia Courteille.

Molly Sims wore Pasquale Bruni

Molly Sims went to the Office Christmas Party with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman, whom I both find incredibly funny. Molly wore the Giardini Segreti collection by Pasquale Bruni ( secret garden collection) A beautiful collection as it has this beautiful effect on the hand and ear, almost like it wraps around it as if it were a piece of fabric, instead of gold and diamonds.

Rita Ora wore Mattia Cielo

Rita Ora went to visit *Extra* at their New York studios at H&M on the 7th this month. Looking cool and collected with the beautiful earrings made by Mattia Cielo.

This brand was created in 2006 and is known for its more innovative, highly technological style. Still with that all Italian look and feel.
