Spring jewelry, come hear the birds sing

It is still freezing outside, when we wake up early morning in this part of the world. It’s almost more cold now than during this past winter. But something has changed and it was a few weeks ago that I felt my heart almost make a little leap of joy. The first bird sang in the early evening hour. It was a black bird…and even if it was still too cold, I opened my doors to the garden and sat there, listening.

Cinderella is back this year, check out her shoes and jewelry!

Cinderella is back this year, check out her shoes and jewelry!

If you read this blog more often, you may know some of my weaknesses. I adore jewelry with animals and I love a good fairytale. Magic is a word that I use daily to color the day of my son. We love to go around in the garden and explore magic in nature, as much as we love a good movie full of the magic I secretly wish existed!

Can you guess the prices of these pieces of jewelry?

Can you guess the prices of these pieces of jewelry?

One of the fun things people ask you when they know you have been working in the jewelry industry is if you can value their jewelry. Sometimes because they genuinely want to know, sometimes they seek confirmation if they’ve spend the money right. Is it well made, is it beautiful? Now, I think everyone who works in this industry for a longer period of time has developed their own strategy how to handle this question well…:-)

Valentine and jewelry, love and hearts

Valentine’s day. A day that celebrates love. Love for each other. Not just your partner, not just the person you secretly are in love with, but Love with a capital L. There are so many ways to express love, but in jewelry it is hearts that tell you immediately the whole love story.

Architectural rings, how to wear cities on your finger!

Just when you thought you had seen it all on Bizzita: here are some awesome, incredible fantastic rings that look like a whole building, or even a city on your finger. I was inspired by the rings of Sevan Bicakci and Philippe Tournaire. But as I started to do some research, I found so many more exciting rings!

Why red is such a great choice in jewelry

Why red is such a great choice in jewelry

Red is such a flamboyant color. I adore red lipstick, but don’t own a red piece of garment. It looks terrible on me. But the lipstick…ah the lipstick is so bold. It puts you out there and you need to be a confident woman wearing it with ease. Red color in jewelry is just as sassy as the red lipstick is. It’s kind of loud and out there. But so very charming and intriguing at the same time. And for those of you who like to be on trend: it's a shade of red, Marsala, that is thé color of 2015!

Wearable jewelry to help you relax

Are you as curious as I am about all the new technological developments ? I find living today very exciting and I can really smile when I look at my 6 year old son, using the iPad as if it was the most normal thing in the world. If he wants to fold an airplane he goes to the pc and just puts: how to fold the fastest airplane for 6 years old. That last bit is soooo funny! But see, he already thinks in search terms!

Alice in Wonderland jewelry

Alice in Wonderland jewelry

Alice in Wonderland appeared in 1865 and still is one of the best children's stories. Although the book is simply marvellous, it's probably Disney who made the story so well known still today. I watched the movie this week with my 6 year old son and afterwards I felt so inspired to do a blog about the story. Of course, filled with beautiful jewelry inspired by the famous Lewis Caroll story!
