Magical jewelry by Suzanne Syz

I am every times surprised by how many companies I know and yet still I know so little! Today I came across Suzanne Syz. And I started to browse and browse and got all happy when looking at her designs.

This amazing designer was born in Zurich, moved to Paris to study and then went on to New York. There she ended up in the scene of the contemporary artists of the '80's. Names like Andy Warholl, Jeff Koonz, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel and Francesco Clemente. They inspired her profoundly. Not only did she start to collect art but also later on, she started to design her own jewelry. 

Maybe out of frustration, as I read. But I think that almost all good ideas are born from that frustration. You look for something and are not happy with what you find. 

Anyway, she did start to design and as I study her designs, I can see how much she not only loves nature, but most of all I see: fun!

The colors, the subjects....all beautifully done, but with humor here and there to it.

So please, enjoy her wonderful designs. There is even a wonderful book with her inspirations and work.
