The Worlds most expensive rough diamond, acquired by de Grisogono

Wow, what an enormous diamond! de Grisogono just announced today the acquisition of the Constellation, during a press conference today held in the Grand Palais.

de Grisogono paid a staggering 63 million dollars earlier this year, during a fierce bidding. The over 6cm wide stone, is unique and has all the promises that, after cutting, which will take place in 2017, will become the largest certified flawless diamond in the whole wide world. The 813 carat diamond was discovered by Canadian company, Lucara Diamond, at its Karowe mine in Botswana in November 2015.

What a stone and what a perfect name! One thing is for sure; the acquisition of the stone is a huge milestone for the de Grisogono brand.
