It’s true that you can’t go wrong with a diamond-encrusted engagement ring, the timeless classic that can be found in several styles on the fashion aggregator Lyst, but lately we’ve noticed a bunch of trends that are getting us to rethink the traditional and hoping that one day we are presented with something a little more unconventional.

Though they may be cheaper in value, there are several other precious stones out there that are just as remarkable as the diamond.
