Some great jewelry ideas

When I lived in Italy and worked in our jewelry store I noticed how much jewelry was bought between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The most heard explanation for this was that many couples were both enjoying a few days off together and wanted to buy something together.

Indeed, the most expensive pieces were sold in that period. Because people love to make the right choice. Not always easy of course and when you go together: chances are that you make an excellent choice and don’t have to bother worrying if the other was being nice when he or she said: I love it!

There is something nice in buying something together. It can be romantic. And also: lots of times we like to see that our taste and choices are confirmed by the other. Whether that’s the buyer or the receiver. We all like to hear and see the approval in the other person’s eyes.

So just to give you a little bit of an idea of what is out there and in line with jewelry that is mostly sold in this period of time, I have chosen jewelry from different countries and different tastes, but still all rather classical. 

I am certain that not everyone agrees on the word: Classical here…haha..But what I meant is that I did not choose fauna related rings or anything really very different. It is all on the classical touch but with a twist here and there.

I do hope you will love some of the pieces and maybe start to dream of how it would look on you! I have put some very high end jewelry in this blog from brands such as Buccellati and Louis Vuitton, Chopard and Mousson.

Some jewelry from brands like Leo Pizzo, Rina Limor, IvankaTrump, Lorenz Baumer and LeVian which are still all on the more expensive and exclusive side.

But also some silver companies like Bliss, Rebecca, Calgaro, Thistle& Bee, Adami &Martucci because they make some awesome jewelry too and still all these pieces aren’t on the cheapest side. But more affordable for a larger group of people whilst still providing quality and design.

I often get questions about prices and I am really sorry that in most cases I am not able to provide them. Unless you are really really interested you can contact me and I will try to find out. But as you may understand, unless they are available online somewhere, most jewelry companies do not provide prices on their website. So I need to contact them directly. But I am happy to try to help you, should you want it!

If you do not have the budget right now, but love jewelry all the same, I would suggest you go to the stores anyway. And try some different styles. See what is available. If you saw a style you really loved, then take your tablet or phone with you and show it to them. It is a pleasure to show jewelry to people who genuinely love jewelry and most jewelers will be more than willing and happy to help you try things.

Jewelry means a lot of things, but it is always about enjoying it and about creating memories. Symbols of a moment in time. An emotion that we want to capture and that we will feel in our hearts whenever we look at it.
